1“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. 3 Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn” – Isaiah 60:1-3
The Lord is prompting us to pray that His light will shine through the darkness that covers the land. We believe that as we humble ourselves according to 2 Chronicles 7:14, God will intervene and heal the nation from the prevailing spiritual turmoil, disunity and distrust. He is the source for lasting peace and brotherly love in the nation!
Day 1 (7/28/17) – We begin ‘Prayer Drive 2017’ from Richmond, VA. The team of twelve intercessions will drive to Chicago, praying for the following states as we pass through them – Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois.
Day 2 (7/29/17) – We start from Chicago and drive through Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York and arrive in NY city by late evening to pray for the city.
Day 3 (7/30/17) – We begin our final leg from New Jersey and drive through Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC. We will stop and pray in major cities like Philly, Baltimore and the Nations Capital before reaching home in Richmond.
